Working with OCAD

For the past couple of months I have been working with the Ontario Collage of Art and Design to develop a visual representation of genetics, and medical specialization in Flash. It is an interesting concept showcasing the advancements in medical and genetic technology.

Attached are images of the application: Feel free to have a look

All innovations relating to medical and genetic specialization
Here is a compiled image of all of the genetic and medical specialization innovations. Users can select any of the bubbles to read more about specific information about that innovation.

Genetic and Medical Specialization spread out over 4 topics
This picture shows the unfolding relationship of all of the major genetic and medical specialization innovations. Users can extrapolate all of the information into 4 different layers

Cytogenetic
Users can select each layer to have more of a close up look at that specific layer. In this example, the user has selected the Cytogenetic layer. Each dot on this layer represents an innovation in the medical and genetic field relating to the Cytogenetic. Users can click on each bubble and read the specific information about each innovation.

SelectedButton
This image is when users select a specific bubble to read the information. The bubble is brought up to the top and an information box is displayed with the title of the innovation and a description of each innovation.
